About Josh

Josh Friedman started playing guitar at 14, received a B.A. in Guitar Performance from UC Santa Cruz in 2000, and a Masters in Music Composition in 2003, and has taken private lessons from a long list of amazing teachers, including Ben Verdery, Marc Teicholtz, William Coulter, Scott Cmiel, and Mesut Özgen.

Josh has performed in the Cabrillo Music Festival, First Night Santa Cruz and Monterey, live and recorded on the radio, weddings, recitals, parties, cover and original bands, solo, in Santa Cruz Guitar Duo, and progressive rock band Fractal, in Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand.
