About Josh

Josh Friedman started playing guitar at 14, received a B.A. in Guitar Performance from UC Santa Cruz in 2000, and a Masters in Music Composition in 2003, and has taken private lessons from a long list of amazing teachers, including Ben Verdery, Marc Teicholtz, William Coulter, Scott Cmiel, and Mesut Özgen.

Josh performs solo, in Santa Cruz Guitar Duo, with his progressive rock band Fractal and his new project Braeburn.
